Anno Gin

Anno (ABV 43%)

Anno is distilled in the Weald of Kent in a village called Marden. It is distilled with a careful marriage of Kentish flavours and citrus elements along with some traditional botanicals such as juniper, coriander, cassia and lavender, to bring a fusion of floral and citrus notes to the palate. The taste begins with classic juniper then moves to citrus and sweet spiced notes. Soft to start, with a complexity of flavours that grow as you sip.

Brighton Gin

Brighton Gin (ABV 40%)

A super smooth and super small batch gin that's lovingly crafted in the cellar of a pub on the outskirts of Brighton, by gin lovers Kathy and Helen. Juniper and citrus led. The colour scheme was carefully chosen to mimic that of the iconic railings on Brighton sea front.

Brockmans Gin (ABV 40%)

An intensely fruity and smooth gin from England. A real summer favourite and completely unique! An English distilled gin, made in a 100 year old copper still, with a uniquely smooth and fruity flavour. Brockmans is the product of a group of friends, determined to create something completely new and original.

Caoruun

Caorunn (ABV 41.8%)

An aromatic Scottish gin with a wealth of foraged botanicals. Made in the world’s only working Copper Berry Still in batches of 1000 litres by gin master Simon Buley. This is an original and versatile gin and works well in numerous cocktails.

Colombo 7

Colombo 7 (ABV 43.1%)

Colombo 7 is based on a 70 year old recipe created in Colombo, Sri Lanka, during the war. It was originally distilled by a young Asian who ignored the typical attitude of the time, that a good London Gin could not be distilled outside of the United Kingdom. Now distilled by Rockland Distillers. The taste has initially a juniper led experience, which moves on to a soft and welcome sweetness and distinctive spices. Colombo 7 consists of, quite predictably, seven botanicals.

Copperhead

Copperhead (ABV 40.0%)

Copperhead Gin was created by Yvan Vindevogel, a famous Belgian pharmacist who was very interested in the healing aspects of gin. The balance of this gin is absolutely perfect. The nose shows a lot of coriander and the juniper is clear with a touch of cardamom to finish. After the cardamom, sweet orange peel comes through.

Daffy's

Daffy's (ABV 43.4%)

Daffy’s is created from the finest French grain spirit, distilled in an ancient copper pot whisky still, with Lebanese mint and the finest botanicals; it is Bottled with Scottish water to create a classic, perfectly balanced and fresh gin with a world of intrigue. Daffy is the Goddess of Gin, first written about in the 1700s; she is the personification of the taste, charm, sophistication, complexity and depth of Daffy’s gin.

Firkin

Firkin (ABV 46.0%)

Firkin Gin is unique - cask aged gin!Premium London style dry gin is made in the time-honoured way using 10 botanicals and then rested in American Oak whisky casks. Delicate notes of toffee, caramel, vanilla and sweet oak infused into the spirit.

Four Pillars - Rare Dry (ABV 41.8%)

Four Pillars Rare Dry is a deliciously refined gin. Strikingly pure, with intense flavours of citrus, coriander, juniper, cardamom, star anise and lemon myrtl. The Four Pillars are based on the cornerstones of family-run business; the stills, the water, the botanicals and the love. The distillery creates delicious gin, and this is one of them!

Four Pillars - Bloody Shiraz

Four Pillars - Bloody Shiraz (ABV 41.8%)

Bloody Shiraz gin is an exciting gin made with the addition of Shiraz grapes. It is distilled by Four Pillars, a small family-run Australian distillery. It has a burst of raspberries on the nose and immediate palate but then those wonderful juniper notes (that gets lost in some sloe/sweeter gins) comes bursting through. It’s a proper gin.

Geranium

Geranium (ABV 44%)

Geranium is the brainchild of Danish gin judge, Henrik Hammer, and is a London Dry that incorporates the aforementioned plant amongst the standard botanicals. Henrik pondered for years on the use of geranium in gin; he finally got round to creating the product in 2010, and the results are outstanding.

Greensand Ridge

Greensand Ridge (ABV 40%)

Greensand Ridge is a micro-distillery that develops excellent spirits the slow way, only developing spirits that truly reflect the flavours of their locality. Working with local farmers, they distill quality produce that supermarkets won’t take, all with 100% renewable power. Greensand Ridge is a “London Dry” gin; it is super smooth and fantastically rounded, no one botanical dominates.

Jenson's Old Tom

Jenson's Old Tom (ABV 43%)

After the success of Jensen’s Bermondsey Dry, Christian Jensen followed three years later with an 1840s recipe Old Tom gin. Jensen’s Old Tom is an essential ingredient in many classic gin cocktails, such as the Martinez, Tom Collins, Ramos Gin Fizz. It lends a wonderful richness and depth of flavour to cocktails such as the Negroni or Last Word, and makes a fantastic and addictively good gin & tonic.

Gin Mare

Gin Mare (ABV 42.7%)

Gin Mare, the Mediterranean gin, is a herbal, aromatic gin with influences that stem from countries right across the Med. A firm favourite here it at TGBS, each of the unique botanicals is distilled separately in a barley base premium spirit before being masterfully blended. Juniper is predominant but the olives in the botanicals provide a creamy mouthful that allows the herbs such as rosemary to really shine through. Think the taste of summer holiday in Spain.

Martin Miller

Martin Miller (ABV 40.0%)

An underrated, modern classic that’s been incorporating a small amount of cucumber for as long as others! Great value and easy drinking in a G&T or martini. After being distilled by Langleys the gin is flown 1500 miles to Iceland to have the purest water on the planet added to bring it down to bottling strength. This is an underrated gin that deserves credit for the wonder that it is. Pure, classic gin with a clean softness thanks to the "secret" ingredient - a small amount of cucumber distillate.

Ophir

Minus33 (ABV 33%)

Not technically a gin, Minus 33 is unapologetically unconventional. It is created in a lab and distilled distinctively; they do things differently to ensure every drop is flawless. A unique artisan juniper based spirit that comes in at 33% ABV.

NB Gin is the 2015 World’s Best London Dry Gin. NB gin is made in North Berwick, Scotland in small batches of less than 100 litres. A classic gin.

Nordes

Nordes (ABV 40%)

An intriguing gin from Galicia, Spain, made with a grape-based spirit, distilled by Atlantic Galician Spirits. The Albariño grape variety is the grape from which the base spirit is derived. The gin is distilled using traditional methods and a 12 botanicals. The gin is bold, and aromatic, with strong floral and citrus notes featuring prominently. Its boldness would stand up to the strength of summer fruits and make for a refreshing drink or cocktail in the heat.

Pickerings

Pickering's (ABV 42.0%)

Pickering’s gin is based on an original Bombay recipe, handwritten on a fragment of paper dated 17 July 1947. The recipe has now been fine-tuned, perfecting its balance of botanicals and tweaking it to the contemporary palate. Classic London dry in style, with the juniper and citrus flavours to the fore. Followed by an element of sweetness from the fennel and anise, finishing with a peppery spice unchanged from the 1947 recipe.

Poetic License - Northern Dry

Poetic License - Northern Dry (ABV 43.2%)

Produced in Sunderland, Poetic License Northern Dry Gin, is distilled in a 500 litre still called ‘Gracie’ using the traditional ‘one-shot’ method; the gin is brought down to bottling strength using nothing but pure mineral water. Expect a big punch of juniper that is finely balanced with green cardamom for a warm and spicy flavour. With undertones of lemon and eucalyptus, the inclusion of Persian lime intensifies the citrus feel while adding a note of perfume.

Principe De Los Apostoles

Principe De Los Apostoles (ABV 40%)

This gin is named after the town of Apóstoles, in the Argentine province of Misiones. The gin is distilled by Renato Gioavanni; his recipe takes influence from an Argentine drink that is infused with leaves of the yerba mate tree - known for giving similar uplifting qualities to caffeine. The gin is a premium spirit with both uplifting & refreshing qualities. A dry yet fruity gin with herbaceous & earthy notes of eucalyptus,peppermint, anise seed & white pepper. Wonderfully aromatic, this gin has been enjoyed for centuries on the island of Menorca. The base spirit is distilled from grapes and then infused with classic juniper berries and a secret blend of herbal and floral botanicals. This gin is a cult classic with those in the know.

Pell-&-Co-Hopton-Gin-Miniature

Pell & Co. Hopton Gin (ABV 38%)

Distilled at the English Spirit Distillery in Cambridgeshire by master distiller, John Walters, this is a brand new gin that encapsulates the passions of its founders - hops and juniper! This gin incorporates Cascade and East Kent Goldings hops with more classic botanicals. A very well balanced, new wave gin that hints at a nutty, creaminess and finishes on the citrus like oils of the hops.

Ophir

Ophir (ABV 40%)

A London Dry Gin with an oriental twist. Opihr is a spiced gin which delivers flavours of the orient by the bucket load and makes for a savoury yet refreshing spirit. Great for an interesting G&T with a slice of chilli. An excellent accompaniment to a curry.

Rock Rose Gin

Rock Rose Gin (ABV 41.5%)

Produced at Dunnet Bay Distillers, where the freshest of air and the purest of water are in abundance. The gin is hand distilled in batches of 500 litres and takes it’s name from the Rhodiola rosea (a rose in the rocks) used in the botanicals. The botanicals are foraged from the cliffs of the Pentland Firth and provide a unique taste of the highlands of Scotland.

Sibling Gin

Sibling (ABV 42%)

This Triple Distilled Gin is made in Cheltenham at Sibling Distillery using their own grain spirit base. The gin is twice filtered for total purity and diluted with spring water from local hills. The distillery uses a state of the art, glass and stainless steel distillery; the carefully selected botanicals are vapour infused in the Carter-Head still to produce a delicate, refined gin.

Star of Bombay

Star of Bombay (ABV 47.5%)

Essentially a more exuberant version of Bombay Saphire, with two more botanicals than Bombay’s 10. Star of Bombay sits at a higher ABV than the Saphire (47.5%). A slower than usual vapour infusion process was carried out to increase the extraction of the botanical’s essence. An aromatic and floral taste with the traditional botanicals coming through boldly. Spice is most definitely apparent. An intense and confident gin. Comfortable to a discerning London Dry Gin lover.

Trevethan Gin Miniature

Trevethan (ABV 43%)

Trevethan is a Cornish gin, made by friends John Hall & Rob Cuffe in a small alembic still called Doris. The recipe was originally created by Rob’s grandfather in the late 1920’s and has been painstakingly revived by the modern day distillers over a 2 year period. There’s a big hit of juniper both on the nose and palate, but one also tastes liquorice from the angelica and cinnamon. Citrus notes follow, before a spice from the cardamom. Smooth and oily, thanks to gorse flower and vanilla.

Two Birds speciality gin

Two Birds speciality gin (ABV 40%)

Founded and produced in the quaint market town of Market Harborough in Leicestershire, Two Birds is a small batch gin, distilled in a one of a kind copper still called Gerard. Produced in batches of just 100 bottles this is just like their impeccable London Dry but with a double hit of juniper.

Warner Edwards

Warner Edwards (ABV 40%)

This fruity spirit is made from the finest, organically grown rhubarb from Crown Estate Property - rhubarb with lineage. The rhubarb is softened in Warner Edward’s still ‘Curiosity’ before being pressed to extract the juices. This juice is then used to dilute the award winning Harrington Dry Gin to bottling strength.

Xoriguer Gin Miniature

Wonderfully aromatic, this gin has been enjoyed for centuries on the island of Menorca. The base spirit is distilled from grapes and then infused with classic juniper berries and a secret blend of herbal and floral botanicals. This gin is a cult classic with those in the know. The grape base of the alcohol accentuates a deeply aromatic almost floral palate with a strong rounded taste of juniper touched with a lingering trace of lemon zest and camomile.
