Hernö Old Tom 40.5% - 50cl
No messing around, this is a proper gin. Delicious, simple, smooth, and clean like the country it was made. This organic gin is distilled on a farm within a world heritage UNESCO site in beautiful Sweden.
The Taste
Juniper invites you into the glass, followed by clean citrus, and a floral complexity.
Clean and fresh with a smooth oily texture, both palate and nose in perfect balance. Love the balance of spice such as coriander, citrus and juniper on this one.
Hernö Old Tom uses more Meadowsweet during distillation than Hernö Gin and Hernö Navy Strength Gin to achieve the sweetness and after cutting it down to 43%, a touch of honey is added. This sweetening lifts the floral notes and releases more juniper than the other iterations - making it even smoother.
