About
Zymurgorium Marmalade Gin 40% -50cl
An unusual gin from visionary, Aaron Darke and Zymurgorium (a gin producer based in Manchester).
Zymurgorium have collaborated with Duerr (the Uk's oldest jam producer) and added their marmalade to the Zymurgorium Original Vodka, along with a whole citrussy host of other botanicals, some of which include: lime, lemon, tangerine, seville oranges, bergamot, coriander and juniper...
The natural sweetness and aroma of orange is enhanced by passing the distilled spirit over orange peel.
The result, one zesty little number!
The Taste
The gin has a rich and complex flavour that starts with hints of spice and pepper, which then moves on to a more dominant citrus and zesty stage, before a smoother vanilla finish with a milder citrus experience. The "jammy & conserve" nature of the spirit makes for an unusual but tasty gin on the sweeter edge of the palate but with an excellent tartness. (we quite like it straight on the rocks!)
The Botanicals
Lime, lemon, tangerine, seville oranges, bergamot, coriander, grains of paradise, vanilla, juniper

This gin works great in a G&T but to really appreciate the harmony of flavours try it neat over ice. We also quite like it with firery ginger beer
