About
KI NO BI Kyoto Dry Gin (45.7% | 70cl)
The first Japanese gin, made in Kyoto. KI NO BI ("The beauty of the seasons") is inspired by tradition and has a distinct Japanese accent.
As clear as the air in the sacred mountains of Kyoto.
A fresh aroma of yuzu, and a thread of Sansho that lingers like a morning mist in a bamboo forest.
The juniper complements and showcases the Japanese botanicals.
Ginger root gives a slightly warming, spicy finish.
The Taste
Fresh citrus aroma from the Yuzu leaf, whilst Hinoki bark enhances the piney Juniper.
Light tea (Gyokuro) background adds an authentic dry mouth feel along with Bamboo leaves & Red perilla / Shiso leaves (bringing a mild fruitiness).
Sansho pepper adds further aromatic ambience to the finish and enhances the oriental spicy notes of the ginger.
The botanicals
Yuzu, Gyokuro, Hinoki, Sansho, Fushimi water, Juniper, Lemon, Giner, Red Perilla, Bamboo, Kinome, Orris.
