Principe De Los Apostoles 40% - 70cl
Translating as Prince of Apostles, the gin is the creation of Renato Gioavanni. It is named after the town of Apóstoles, founded by Jesuits in the Argentine province of Misiones. The town is the national capital of yerba mate, a traditional Argentine drink produced from the leaves of the yerba mate tree, a species of the holly plant. Yerba mate is usually imbibed as an infusion with hot water and is known for its uplifting qualities similar to caffeine. Renato's concept was to produce a gin using yerba mate as one of the principle botanicals thus creating a premium spirit to deliver an uplifting as well as refreshing drink.
Dry yet fruity with a medium-to-full body. Herbaceous and earthy with notes of eucalyptus and peppermint, anise seed and white pepper.
Juniper berries, coriander seeds, yerba mate leaves, peppermint, eucalyptus and pink grapefruit.
