Trevethan Honey Oak Gin - 43% - 5cl
Trevethan gin is a Cornish gin made by friends John Hall & Rob Cuffe in a small alembic still called Doris. The recipe was originally created by Rob's grandfather in the late 1920's and has been painstakingly revived by the modern day distillers through trial and error over 2 years. The gin makes its presense known with a big hit of juniper and is perfect as a sipping gin or with a dash of soda but equally holds it's own in a healthy G&T. A perfect balance of smooth spirit and well defined flavours.
This Trevthan Honey Oak gin is an excellently developed variation of their original and solid Trevthan Gin - Goes delightfully with a lightly sparkling gingerale, or soda and a dash of ginger cordial, garnished with a slice of orange, very fresh indeed.
Similar in taste to the Trevethan Original, but with a smooth slight oakiness and a hint of Cornish Honey Sweetness.
Natural flavours and many botanicals foraged from Cornish hedgerows. Botanicals include: Juniper, coriander, angelica, cassia, cardamom, orange peel, lemon peel, elderflower, vanilla and gorse flower.
