  • Brighton Gin - 30ml
    £3.89

    The Taste

Smooth and refreshing this gin slides down easily when drunk neat thanks to the milk thistle in the botanicals (which incidentally is also very good for your liver). It's refreshing, clean and the hints of zesty coriander pop through the juniper.

    The Botanicals

Juniper, coriander seed, orange, lime peel, milk thistle

  • Caorunn - 30ml

Caorunn is a Modern “London Dry” Gin with a dry and crisp, aromatic taste adventure and a long dry finish.

  • Colombo 7 - 30ml
    £3.89

    The Taste

The taste has initially a juniper led experience, which moves on to a soft and welcome sweetness accompanied by the distinctive spices that bring the exotic country of Sri Lanka into the picture.
It would compliment Asian cooking very well indeed, especially a curry

    The Botanicals

Angelica root, coriander seed, angelica, liquorice root, Sri Lankan cinnamon bark, curry leaves, ginger root

  • Copperhead - 30ml
    £3.99

    The Taste

The balance of this mix is absolutely perfect. The nose shows a lot of coriander and the juniper is clear with a touch of cardamom to finish. The palate begins with cardamom is at the forefront with some sweet orange peel coming through to help give this gin its distinctive length.

    The Botanicals

Copperhead is comprised of 5 botanicals - juniper, coriander, cardamom, orange peel and angelica.

  • Gin Mare - 30ml
    £3.89

    The Taste

Juniper is predominant but the olives in the botanicals provide a creamy mouthfull that allows the herbs such as rosemary to really shine through. Think the taste of summer holiday in Spain.

    The Botanicals

Basil from Italy, thyme from Greece, rosemary from Turkey, oliva arbequina from Spain and the more traditional botanicals: Juniper, coriander, green cardamom, lemons, bitter orange and sweet orange.

  • Jensen's Old Tom - 30ml

Jensen's Old Tom has only classic gin botanicals, numbering around 10.

About

Zymurgorium Sweet Violet Gin Liqueur - 18.7% - 50cl

An unusual gin liqueur from visionary, Aaron Darke and Zymurgorium (a gin producer based in Manchester).

The natural aroma of parma violets (flowers) mixed with Zymurgorium gin means this isn't one dimensional, but definitey an acquired taste. Ideal in an Aviator cocktail instead of Cregraveme de Violette, or for the lighter and sweeter beverage, perhaps mix with a high quality non-cloudy lemonade, or a light tonic.

The Taste

The liqueur gin has a rich and aromatic flavour and pastel sweet taste. You like the Parma Violet sweets, it's likely that you'll love this!

The Botanicals

Their original gin recipe, and obviously, Parma Violet, British juniper, organic coriander, organic caraway, raspberries, angelica, Orris root. Honey is also used, as it makes the base of Zymurgorium's Manchester Vodka, that in turn they use to make their Manchester Gin.

[TGB] recommends serving with

This gin liqueur works well in an Aviator cocktail, but perhaps try it neat over ice. (we find the ice helps dilute the sweetness/numb the taste buds) We also quite like it with a light tonic such as 1724 Andean tonic water, or a light non-cloudy lemonade
